For centuries, people thought Love and most other emotions, for that matter stem from Heart. However, as it turns out, Love is all about the Brain.
According to a Team of Scientists led by Dr Helen Fisher at Rutgers, romantic love can be broken down into 3 categories which are Lust, Attraction and Attachment.
Each category is characterized by a set of its own hormones emanating from the Brain.
Lust is driven by Hormones: Testosterone and Estrogen.
Attraction is driven by Hormones: Dopamine, Norepinephrine and Serotonin.
Attachment is driven by Hormones: Oxytocin and Vasopressin.
In short, Love can be both the best and worst thing for you depending on how you handle it.Everyone is capable enough of defining love for themselves.Infact, if it is all about hormones, may be each of us can have a “great chemistry” with just about anyone.
Stay Safe, Healthy and full of Peace.

Such a fascinating topic! I also think about the hormones that are released when a mother is feeling fierce love for her baby. We are fearfully and wonderfully created!
