I am a Hindu by birth, however, I believe in all religions and strongly believe all religions lead to the same path or goal which ultimately is to have a divine communion with the Ultimate.
I hate fundamentalism and believe because of Maya or Illusion we have started believing that there are multiple Gods but looking at the Uniqueness in everything around us I strongly believe that there has to be a single Creator or God. Unfortunately, if you look at the History you will find that major violence which happened or is happening across the world is predominantly because some feel that their religion or religious belief system is superior to the other. Hinduism is considered the oldest religion in the World ,however, if you read the Chapter 2 Verses of the Bhagavad Gita, it is clearly mentioned that even then in the Dvapara Yuga when Bhagavad Gita was told by Krishna to Arjuna more than one religious belief systems existed; One which believed that Soul is never born or never dies and in Reincarnation; and other which believed believed that Soul takes birth and dies with the body. Arjuna was told by Krishna whether he believed in any of these two belief systems he should still not lament at fighting and killing his relatives in the Kurukshetara War. This clearly signifies that even at that time there were more than one religious belief systems and obviously there should not be any cause for one belief system to fight over the other.
Ultimately what is more important and which I believe all religions teach us is that finally we all should strive to have a divine communion with God.
Lastly these all are my personal thoughts based on my understanding of the Creator and I am not imposing or trying to impose my thoughts on anyone regardless of their caste, creed or religion.
Stay Safe, healthy and at Peace.
