All Religions lead to the same path

I am a Hindu by birth, however, I believe in all religions and strongly believe all religions lead to the same path or goal which ultimately is to have a divine communion with the Ultimate.

I hate fundamentalism and believe because of Maya or Illusion we have started believing that there are multiple Gods but looking at the Uniqueness in everything around us I strongly believe that there has to be a single Creator or God. Unfortunately, if you look at the History you will find that major violence which happened or is happening across the world is predominantly because some feel that their religion or religious belief system is superior to the other. Hinduism is considered the oldest religion in the World ,however, if you read the Chapter 2 Verses of the Bhagavad Gita, it is clearly mentioned that even then in the Dvapara Yuga when Bhagavad Gita was told by Krishna to Arjuna more than one religious belief systems existed; One which believed that Soul is never born or never dies and in Reincarnation; and other which believed believed that Soul takes birth and dies with the body. Arjuna was told by Krishna whether he believed in any of these two belief systems he should still not lament at fighting and killing his relatives in the Kurukshetara War. This clearly signifies that even at that time there were more than one religious belief systems and obviously there should not be any cause for one belief system to fight over the other.

Ultimately what is more  important and which I believe all religions teach us is that finally we all should strive to have a divine communion with God.

Lastly these all are my personal thoughts based on my understanding of the Creator and I am not imposing or trying to impose my thoughts on anyone regardless of their caste, creed or religion.

Stay Safe, healthy and at Peace.

  1. I also believe there is only one God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. What do you think about what Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

    1. Whether you call God by any name that is insignificant, ultimately communion with God is more important,I feel based on illusion we try to differentiate Gods but essentially God is one and names are different

      1. I have yet not read the Holy Bible, once I will fully read then I will be in a better position to answer your question, Thanks. Also as of now what I can say is that Christ Consciousness and Krishana Consciousness is one at the same thing.

  2. Ultimately, there are always different religions and they’re there to offer guidance. It’s up to us to explore and find what speaks to us. I believe God to be a force of Life that is within and guides all. No one way is the way for all, for we are all here to grow.

  3. The Bible says “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 NIV) According to this verse, Jesus is the only name by which we must be saved. Thanks for discussing this truth with me. I’m interested in your response.

    1. Kurukshetara war happened well before the same and as I said earlier God is one but names are different, each one has liberty to follow his own religious path since every individual has a one to one relationship with God ,however, the ultimate goal remains the same, you may call water by different names like Water, Jal or Paani but it remains the same

      1. Jesus made it very clear that there is only one way to God. It is through His son Jesus Christ, and none other.
Jesus said, ““Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13) Blessings Friend!

      2. Adding to that I respect every religious faith and I have multiple verses in Bhagavad Gita which signify that Sri Krishna is the Supreme God but I won’t do that because I respect every religious faith like I respect mine, I am not here to prove superiority of any one religion

      3. Thank you for responding to my messages with kindness. I hope you will read the Bible some time and consider what Jesus had to say about salvation. Blessings!

  4. Nice

All Religions lead to the same path,is true and I believe in Hinduism and Evey word of bhagwat gita is the way of life.

  5. Well said! Thanks for sharing! I say this, too. I’m born into an on-paper Christian but secular family and have found – through my own life journey – Buddhism to offer most wisdom and guidance for me to be my highest self. I wish we could see religion or spirituality as what unifies us, not what separates us.
